Most problems occur in turf during high humidity. Watch out for lawn grubs in warmer months e.g November –May. Apply lawn grub and beetle killer at first sign of pest infestation.

Fungus diseases usually occur during hot humid conditions. In these conditions be careful not to scalp grass during mowing, diseases may become apparent.

Excessive leaf wetness can encourage disease so try to irrigate early morning to minimise the amount of time turf is damp.

DO NOT leave grass clippings on turf during hot humid weather this will result in disease.
